A national anti-polio vaccination campaign launched

A national anti-polio vaccination campaign, organized by the Ministry of Health, was launched on Sunday. It  targets newborn children until they are five years old, regardless of their previous vaccines amid taking all precautionary measures to tackle the Corona virus.

It is expected that about 2,800,000 children will benefit from the campaign and 8,800 health workers will provide the vaccines at the health centers and through mobile vaccination teams that will cover different regions in the provinces.

It is noteworthy that the national anti-polio vaccination campaign will last till 15th of the current month.
