A mine left behind by ISIS terrorists goes off in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor, (ST) – Two children were injured when a landmine left behind by ISIS terrorists went off in Al-Rashdiya neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.

A SANA reporter stated that a landmine left by ISIS terrorists exploded near an abandoned building in Al-Rashdiya neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, injuring two children.

The Director of the General Authority of Al-Assad Hospital, Dr. Mamoun Heza, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the children, 11 and 12 years old, were injured by shrapnel throughout the body as a result of being exposed to a mine explosion. The necessary treatment was provided and they were placed under medical observation.
