A member of the US Congress condemns the Israeli occupation’s killing of a child in Ramallah

On December 6, US Congressman Betty McCollum condemned the killing of the Palestinian child Ali Abu Alia by the Israeli occupation forces in Al Mughayir village in Ramallah in the West Bank, noting that it was a brutal operation.

“The murder of a 15-year-old Palestinian boy, by a bullet in the stomach, by an Israeli soldier in the West Bank, is a heinous, brutal operation,” Wafa quoted McCollum as saying in a statement.

McCollum indicated that the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, documented 232 injuries to Palestinian children at the hands of the occupation forces between January and September of this year.

“This is a direct result of the continued Israeli military occupation of the Palestinian land,” McCollum said.

On December 4, the child Abu Alia died after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces.
