A medal Bronze for Syria in the “Info 1 CUP” International Informatics Championship

Syria wins a medal bronze in the “Info 1 CUP” International Informatics Championship for 2025, which was organized by Romania in its ninth edition remotely from February 7 to 9.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority announced today via its official Facebook page that the bronze medal was awarded to student Ghassan Hasan from Damascus, who is one of the students that achieved the highest scores in the final qualifiers in the programming marathon for juniors and youth in 2024, all of whom are under 16 years old.

Syria’s participation in this programming competition included four students, including Ghassan, alongside students from 17 countries around the world.
