The American authorities launched a massive campaign of arrests against students at American universities, which are witnessing an escalation in the protests denouncing the crimes of the Israeli occupation against Gaza Strip.

The Associated Press reported that US police arrested seven students at Brandeis University and about 24 students yesterday during a protest organized by students at Brown University in the US state of Rhode Island.

Columbia University in New York City announced yesterday the suspension of the activities of the students association until the end of the semester due to leading protests demanding an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, USA, witnessed protests against the Israeli aggression against Gaza which prompted the institute’s administration to expel a large number of students.

Western voices denouncing the Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza are getting louder, as the matter was not limited to university students, but also included international writers, artists, scholars, academics, and journalists denouncing the aggression.

Many capitals of foreign and Arab countries witnessed massive demonstrations denouncing the ongoing Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
