A mass wedding ceremony in Al-Suwayda for a number of army wounded personnel

In appreciation of their sacrifices in defending the homeland, the Martyr Foundation – Al-Suwayda Branch- organized on Saturday evening a mass wedding ceremony for a number of wounded personnel of the Syrian Arab Army and auxiliary forces, at the tourist hotel in the city of Al-Suwayda.

The director of the Martyr Foundation’s branch in Al-Suwayda, Ghada Tali’a, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the mass wedding ceremony is a tribute to the heroes of the army and the auxiliary forces, and in appreciation of their sacrifices, pointing out that the wedding ceremony is the first held by the Foundation and will be an annual tradition.

Tali’a underlined the importance of this initiative, which was carried out in cooperation with the local community, in providing support to these heroes under difficult circumstances and easing the burden of marriage costs on them.

In turn, the grooms, Sami, Samer, Yasar Al-Jabai, and Raafat Al-Qassem expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which reflects the extent of concern for the wounded and the continuous endeavor to help them and stand by them to follow their life path.
