A mass rally in Saadallah Al-Jabri Square in Aleppo in support of the presidential elections

Aleppo, (ST) – The people of Aleppo gathered in a mass rally in Saadallah Al-Jabri Square in support of the presidential elections. They emphasized the need to participate in the presidential elections next Wednesday, in order to ensure the future of Syria.

The event included various artistic performances, patriotic songs, and performances by the scout teams, the Sports Federation and the Baath Vanguards Organization.

 

In statements to SANA, Imad Eddin Fattal stressed the need for Syrians to participate in the constitutional process to choose whoever represents them in the leadership of the country in order to reconstruct what has been destroyed by terrorism.

Hassan Shahoud indicated that, holding the presidential elections on time and participating in these elections is an affirmation of the independence and sovereignty of Syria’s national decision and the rejection of external interference in its affairs.

A young woman, Sana Sebahi, explained about the pivotal role of youth in the next stage for the reconstruction and advancement of Syria.

Lawyer Abdel Moneim Al-Sawa said that “we are meeting today to express our love for the homeland and confirm our role in the presidential elections to choose the candidate who represents us, and to assure the whole world that the Syrian people are the ones who decide their future.

Ahmed Saleh Ibrahim, head of the framers General union referred to the importance of establishing the constitutional entitlement on time, which sends a message from the Syrian people to the world that after ten years of global war against it. The destruction and siege Syria has suffered, this will not prevent all its spectrums to participate in this constitutional entitlement.
