A Mass Event in Damascus in support of the Palestinian people and condemnation of the crimes of the Zionist occupation

The National Progressive Front and the Palestinian resistance factions held a mass event in Arnos Square, Damascus, in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance, and in condemnation of the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Participants in the event raised banners and chanted phrases condemning the vicious Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip and affirming absolute solidarity with its people, stressing that resistance is the only way to liberate the land and restore Palestinian rights.

The participants stressed that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle is a strategic operation that stunned the depth of the occupation entity at all levels, as it proved its impotence and the loss of confidence in it by the settlers and showed that the will of resistance and steadfastness is stronger than all pressures, noting the firm stances of the countries and forces of the axis of resistance, foremost of which is Syria, on the Palestinian issue.

The participants called on the United Nations and the international community to intervene immediately to prevent the occupation’s crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need for the Arab and Islamic nations and the free peoples of the world, to stand in solidarity by all means with the Palestinian people to end the occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its eternal capital.
