A mass demonstration in front of the US Embassy in Beirut condemning Washington’s interference in Lebanon’s affairs

On November 24, Lebanese youth and student organizations and groups organized a mass demonstration in front of the US Embassy in Beirut to denounce the US interference in Lebanon’s affairs.

The participants raised Lebanese flags and banners denouncing the US and foreign interventions in Lebanon affairs. They stressed in their speeches their rejection of these interventions and the economical and political pressure being exerted on Lebanon.

They expressed their adherence to the option of resistance to confront the Israeli enemy and liberate the occupied territories.

The demonstrators said that America encourages corruption in Lebanon.

The demonstrators also burned the flag of  Israel near the US embassy and chanted slogans praising the role of the Lebanese national resistance in confronting the Israeli aggressions.

The security forces blocked the roads leading to the US embassy with barbed wire and prevented demonstrators from approaching the entrances to the embassy.
