A martyr and two wounded by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank

Occupied Jerusalem  (ST): An elderly Palestinian was martyred today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on him in the village of Jaljalia, north of Ramallah in the West Bank.

The head of the village council, Fouad Mutee, told Wafa that the elderly Omar Abdel-Majid Asaad (80 years), from the village of Jaljalia, north of Ramallah, had been martyred after being detained, handcuffed, assaulted and abused by the Israeli occupation forces.

The occupation forces continue their aggressive practices against the Palestinians by attacking and harassing them with the aim of displacing them and seizing and judaizing their lands.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian was wounded today by the Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during their storming of Beitunia town, west of Ramallah in the West Bank.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the town and shot Palestinians, as a result of which a journalist was wounded while covering the attack on the town.

The occupation forces also shot a Palestinian young man under the pretext of trying to throw a Molotov cocktail at one of its checkpoints near Halhul Bridge, north of Hebron, wounding him before arresting him.
