Damascus countryside, (ST) – Two children were killed today after a mine explosion left by terrorist organizations in Eastern Ghouta of Damascus countryside.
A source in the Damascus countryside Police Command told SANA correspondent that two children one nine and the other eight years old were killed after they found landmine while they were herding sheep in the farms of Hosh Nasri village in Douma area in Eastern Ghouta.
Terrorists’ remnants of improvised explosive devices, mines and unexploded ammunition, which they planted in many places in Ghouta before defeating them, pose a great danger to the lives of civilians and impede them from carrying out their normal lives.
A woman was injured last month by a landmine explosion while working on her land on the Douma road.
