A joint art exhibition between children from Syria and Hungary in Budapest

A joint art exhibition was held in Budapest, Hungary, between 645 children from Syria and Hungary.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, which was held on the initiative of the Syrian artist Hanan Seif, Head of the Artistic Office in the Hungary branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, a technical conference was held during which she communicated with a number of Syrian artists and teachers participating in the event through Skype.

The technical conference discussed the importance of cooperative work and the exchange of expertise and teaching aids, shedding light on the children’s drawings and their contribution to building the child’s personality.

A joint workshop was launched between children from Syria and Hungary during which scenes from two popular folklore stories from both countries were selected.

About 10 schools from several areas in Hungary and 7 schools from Syria took part in the project and the drawings of Syrian children participating in the exhibition were sent to Hungary.
