A government delegation headed by Eng. Arnous pays a visit to Deir Ezzor to put a number of projects into service

Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, at the head of a government delegation, began a visit to Deir Ezzor Governorate, to put a number of vital service, developmental, educational and industrial projects into service after having  been restored, at a total cost of about 14 billion Syrian pounds and 2.5 million Euros.

These projects contribute to improving the service and development realities in the governorate, increasing support for the agricultural process and farmers, escalating agricultural production, improving the reality of university education, ensuring the stability of the people in their lands, in addition to  securing various necessary and basic supplies and services.

Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, launched work on the seventh sector project for government irrigation in Deir Ezzor after its restoration, at a cost of one billion Syrian pounds and 2.5 million euros. The project irrigates more than 7,500 hectares of agricultural land in the western countryside of Al-Bukmal.

On his visit, Eng. Arnous is accompanied by Ministers of Communications and Technology, Eng. Iyad Al-Khatib, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, Minister of Water Resources, Dr. Tammam Raad, and Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Eng. Muhammad Hassan Qatana.
