A fire in the agricultural lands of the town of Al-Mashtaya in the western Homs countryside extinguished

Homs(ST): The firefighting teams in Homs governorate, in cooperation with the people, put out a fire that broke out in the agricultural lands of the town of Al-Mashtaya in the Wadi Al-Nadarah region in the western countryside of Homs.

Elias Bitar, head of the Tal Kalakh forestry division, told a news reporter that the firefighting teams, in cooperation with the people, immediately worked to contain the fire that broke out in agricultural lands and prevented its spread to the homes of citizens, and was able to control and extinguish it and carry out the cooling and monitoring process to prevent it from recurring, indicating that the burned area was estimated at about four acres.

Three days ago, Homs firefighting teams put out a fire of grasses and forest trees on the Homs-Damascus road, near the Military Petrol Station, south of Homs.
