A Dominican Delegation to The Syrian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

A delegation from the Dominican Republic, headed by Carolina Peguero, visited the Syria pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and toured its sections to review the various artistic and cultural exhibits of the first alphabet to the room designated to listen to the oldest musical notation in history.

During her visit to the Syrian pavilion, accompanied by the Commissioner-General of the pavilion and the Syrian Ambassador to the UAE Dr. Ghassan Abbas, Director of the Dominican Republic Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Peguero expressed her great admiration for the various artistic and cultural contents of the Syrian pavilion.

Peguero also expressed her admiration for the collective art exhibition hosted by the pavilion under the title “I am Syrian”, where each painting represents a face from Syria and its idea is based “on the fact that every Syrian person is part of the collective consciousness and that we are all similar and interconnected and together we will build a brighter future for Syria and the world.” .

Biggero praised the archeological exhibits and the pavilion’s idea, which combines the authenticity of Syrian history and the pavilion’s own vision under the slogan “Together the future is ours,” which indicates the Syrians’ desire to continue and succeed despite the crises they face, calling on visitors to tour the pavilion and enjoy the humanitarian, cultural and historical aspects in it.

The visit of the Dominican delegation comes within the framework of great interest in the Syrian participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai, where the Syrian pavilion was visited by delegations and representatives of many countries and organizations participating or visiting the exhibition.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Pavilion team, in addition to introducing Syrian culture and arts, and in cooperation with trading partners, organizes periodic business meetings with Arab and international delegations with the aim of developing trade and economic relations with global partners.
