Associated Press reported that hundreds of people gathered today in front of the US embassy and the headquarters of the United Nations mission in Jakarta, carrying Palestinian and Indonesian flags and holding banners denouncing the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its continued violations against the Palestinians, with unlimited support from the United States, while expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for obtaining its legitimate rights.
The Indonesian authorities deployed more than 2,300 police and law enforcement forces to protect the embassy, the adjacent presidential palace and the headquarters of the United Nations mission.
The Israeli occupation authorities have launched a brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip that lasted from the tenth to the twenty-first of this month, resulting in the death of 255 Palestinians, including 66 children, in addition to the wounding of about 1950 people, including 560 children, and massive damage to Palestinian property, homes and infrastructure.
