A delegation representing the Ministry of Economy and Industry visits Jordan

A source at the Ministry of Economy and Industry revealed that a delegation from the ministry started a visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The source said that the aim of the visit is to be briefed on the advanced industrial technologies and ways to develop the Syrian cement industry.
It is worth noting that reports reveal that trade activity with the Jordanian side has witnessed a significant improvement after the fall of the former regime.
The Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone Company’s revenues increased by 780% during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the first quarter of 2024.
The company also signed approximately 80 investment contracts during the first quarter of this year.
