A delegation from the Donetsk Republic visits Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts

Damascus (ST): The delegation of the Republic of Donetsk headed by the Minister of Culture Mikhail Geltyakov visited Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts and the Union of Arab Writers and carried out a number of activities in the framework of strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries.

During its visit to Dar Al-Assad, the delegation toured the halls of the house and was briefed about its theaters and training halls. According to a statement by the house published on its official platform on social media, the delegation expressed its admiration for this great edifice, stressing the importance of exchanging expertise and experiences between the two sides, especially that art and creativity unite the peoples of the world.

The Minister of Culture of the Donetsk Republic and the delegation accompanying him also visited the headquarters of the Arab Writers Union in Damascus and discussed with the head of the Union, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, members of the Executive Office and the Union prospects for expanding cultural and intellectual relations between writers of Syria and Donetsk writers through the exchange of visits, books and cultural periodicals.

According to the official platform of the Union on social media, Dr. Hourani stressed the importance of this visit as a starting point for strengthening relations between the two friendly countries to boost the cultural exchange between them.
