A consignment of medicines from Tamiko to Tartous

The Arab Medical Company Tamiko sent this morning a consignment of medicines from its production center to Tartous Governorate to support the pharmaceutical sector in the governorate.

The Director General of Tamiko, Dr. Fida Ali, stated in a statement to Sana that the shipment is the third after two shipments of medicines that were sent to the governorates of Aleppo and Deir Ezzor with a weight of11 tons and 10 tons during the past ten days.

Ali pointed out that the new shipment, which weighs 8 tons, includes items and pharmaceutical forms of the company’s production of anti-inflammatory, antipyretics, diabetes medications, and others.

 

Dr. Ali indicated that this shipment, valued at about 80 million pounds, will be received by the Pharmacists Syndicate branch in Tartous in coordination with the Ministry of Health to be distributed to pharmacies in the governorate, pointing out that the company continues to supply other provinces with consignments of medicines respectively, Homs, Lattakia and Hama.
