Occupied Jerusalem (ST): A comprehensive strike took place today in Jenin in the West Bank to protest against the continuing Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinians. Ma’an News Agency stated that the strike called by the Palestinian national forces included all aspects of life in rejection of the continuous aggression of the occupation against Jenin and its camp.
At dawn today, the two young men, Ahmed Abed and Abdel Rahman Sobhi, were martyred by the Israeli occupation forces’ bullets while they were passing through one of its checkpoints northeast of the city, bringing the number of martyrs since the beginning of the year to 148, including 97 in the West Bank and 51 in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested twelve Palestinians in separate areas of the West Bank. The Palestinian Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron and the towns of Al-Janieh, Silwad and Deir Abu Mishaal in Ramallah, and Einabus and Jama’in in Nablus, and arrested twelve Palestinians.
