Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad has made it clear that Russia is the spearhead in confronting the U.S. sanctions because the so-called ‘Caesar Act” targets the Syrian people and the Russian companies and circles that cooperate with Syria.
In an interview with Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper, the ambassador said that a comprehensive strategy is being prepared to confront the sanctions and it will have positive impact on economic situation and the Syrian people’s livelihood.
