A civilian martyred by gunfire of US-backed SDF militia east of Deir Ezzour

The gunmen of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia opened their machinegun fire randomly at locals near the Euphrates bank in the town of Zeiban, east of Deir Ezzour, local sources said on Saturday.

The sources told SANA reporter that the gunshooting also caused a state of panic among civilians, particularly children and women.

The SDF militia has escalated its raids on the areas under its control in the Syrian Al-Jazira region. The SDF militants have  kidnapped many locals, including hundreds of young men in the countryside of Deir Ezzour, Hasakah and Raqqa, and took them to training camps in preparation for recruiting them within the SDF  militia’s ranks.
