A civilian martyred, 25 others wounded in explosion of a bomb thrown by a wanted criminal in a market in Hasaka

A civilian was martyred and 25 others, including women, were wounded when a bomb thrown by a wanted criminal in “Al-Ommal Market” in Hasaka, exploded.

Earlier today, SANA reporter said citing a source at Hasaka Police Command that a wanted criminal threw a bomb targeting a gathering of people in “Al-Ommal” market  in “Palestine Street” in Hasaka, wounding 20 civilians including women.

Some of the wounded, who were transferred to Al-Louloua medical center suffer from serious injuries.

Dr. Issa Khalaf, Hasaka Health Director, told SANA reporter that one civilian was martyred as a result of the bomb explosion and that the number of the wounded persons raised to 25.
