A Chinese tourist group visits the archaeological city of Bosra in Daraa

A Chinese tourist group including managers, engineers and an elite of intellectuals visited the city of Bosra al-Sham in Daraa, and got acquainted with its archaeological and architectural monuments.

Fang Jing, Management expert, said in a statement to a SANA reporter that the visit made him realize the greatness and ability of ancient peoples to build these giant edifices.

Mai Mingying, an expert on Urban Affairs, pointed out that what drew her attention was the size of the stones used in construction, and how to lift them over high distances -an action that needs advanced machines.

Shi Hongyi, who works in the tourism field, noted the beauty of the archaeological structures that reflect the succession of civilizations that have characterized the city over the ages, especially the fact that it contains a huge amount of monuments and sites belonging to multiple civilizations.

“I can’t help but respectfully stand in front of the legacy of ancient civilizations that gave us arts that fascinate minds,” said Ling Fengying, a nutritionist, stressing that the beautiful style of Bosra Theater is a unique architectural masterpiece in the world.

Engineer Lu xingying considered that Bosra is a world-class museum with unique treasures, great monuments worth visiting and enjoying its beauty.
