A child dies due to lack of healthcare at Al-Rukban refugee camp

A child has lost his life at Al-Rukban refugee camp in Al-Tanf area at the Syrian-Iraqiborders due to the critical humanitarian situation and the lack of healthcare inside the camp which is controlled by the US occupation forces and the US-backed terrorist groups, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.

Local sources told SANA that the already bad health conditions in Al-Rukban camp have been exacerbated due to the continuous siege imposed by the US occupation forces and their affiliated terrorist groups. This situation led to the death of an ill child amid fears of the outbreak of diseases inside the camp due to the lack of food and medicine, the sources said.

The US occupation and its mercenaries continue to hold thousands of displaced Syrians inside Al-Rukban Camp under critical humanitarian conditions and sharp lack of food and medicine. The US occupation mercenaries blackmail residents in the camp and loot the humanitarian aid convoys bound to them.
