A child died and others wounded as a result of a fire in a camp for displaced Syrians in Lebanon

Beirut (ST): A child died and others were injured as a result of a fire that broke out today in a camp for displaced Syrians in the town of Bahnin in Akkar Governorate, north Lebanon.

The National News Agency in Lebanon said that the fire caused the death of a child and the injury of others with minor burns, noting that 10 tents were completely burnt.

A fire broke out in a camp for the displaced Syrians on the border Al-Masna’ road between Lebanon and Syria on the fourth of this month, while on the 27th of last December, a number of Lebanese people set fire to a camp for the displaced Syrians containing about 100 tents in the town of Miniyeh, which led to the displacement of hundreds of displaced persons from their tents.
