A call for hope

In cooperation with the engineer Issam abu-Husin who is interested in the digital printing technique the painter Maisoun Alam eddien has organized recently in al ‘Madina tower’ in Sweida governorate  an art fair .

The fair which included 35 panels for the artist Maisoun and 15 panels for Mr. Issam aimed at spreading hope and sense of salvation regarding putting an end to our people current suffering due to the crisis.

the fair which is also under the title of “Emigration” also aimed at spotting light on our home land’s current ordeal, namely the dire repercussion of the crisis on Syrians daily life.

In a statement to Syriatimes reporter in Sweida Miss Maisoun said that this is her seventh fair where she works hard every year to exhibit her works.

“During critical era that our beloved Syria is currently facing we are in a real need for hope to feel some kind of relaxation “Miss Maisoun said, adding that the aim of the fair is to spread the culture of life and struggle through encouraging our people to go on in spite of everything.

“I intended to draw my panels with strong colors and I left empty areas in my panels to refer to hope and future” She also said, reiterating that hope is our only way out of current ordeal.

The drafts women also said every fair constitutes a new experience for me. She also said through colors, panels sizes and the way of painting I can translating my emotions and feelings, and the negative impact of current crisis reflect clearly in my panels.

She also said that our role as artist is to call for abiding by hope, peace and our existence as one united people.

“We are civilized people and throughout history we overcome all bids that aimed at destroying us “by these words the painter included her statement, giving priority for arts role in upgrading national awareness among our people various sects.

For his part the engineer Issam abo-Hussin gave a detailed explanation on his initiative which is the first of its kind in Sweida regarding using the technique of digital prating in treating a normal photo to be a beautiful panel

 “I worked hard to develop my skills at the field of digital printing through participating in further than one training courses” the draftsman said, adding that this is his 3rd fair in this regard.

He also spoke about the importance of developing this modern art due to the notable international position the art is currently occupying in the world.

“At this fair I exhibited 15 panels which are normal photos treated by the technique of digital printing to achieve my aim regarding presenting a beautiful panels full of life and colors ”

Mr. Issam said, including his statement by calling on all Syrian to abide by hope and happiness to overcome our current crisis.
