A bronze medal and two certificates of appreciation won by Syria at the World Informatics Olympiad in Hungary
Damascus (ST): Students of the Syrian Science Olympiad won a bronze medal and two certificates of appreciation in the 2023 World Informatics Olympiad, which was organized by Hungary during the period between August 28 and September 4, with the participation of 89 countries.
The Distinction and Creativity Authority stated in a statement that the bronze medal was won by Amin Sherba from Al-Basel School for Excelled Students in Damascus, while two certificates of appreciation were obtained by students Bernard Ibrahimsha from Al-Maarri High School in Aleppo and Zain Al-Abidin Zammar from Al-Mashreq Private School in Aleppo.
It is noteworthy that this is Syria’s eleventh participation in the World Informatics Olympiad.
