Moscow: No firm stability in the Middle East without settling the Palestinian cause

MOSCOW, (ST)-The Russian Foreign Ministry has stressed that no firm stability can be attained in the Middle East without finding a solution to the Palestinian cause, urging the international community to exert more efforts in this respect.

“The Palestinian cause is still unresolved and it will be a mistake to believe that it would be possible to achieve lasting stability in the Middle East without settling this cause,” the ministry said in a statement on Thursday, urging regional and international partners to intensify their efforts to solve it.

The ministry reiterated Russia’s readiness for such a common action within the framework of the International Quartet on the Middle East and in all other ways.
