Ministry of Transport: Lebanon includes Syrian maritime certificates in the list it ratified

The Ministry of Transport announced that the General Directorate of Land and Maritime Transport in the Lebanese Republic included the approved Syrian maritime certificates in the list it ratified.

The Ministry said in a statement “the Lebanese maritime transport has joined the list of those who recognize the Syrian maritime certificates approved by the Syrian Maritime Authority and the Syrian Maritime Academy.”

 

Accordingly, the Ministry indicated that Syrian sailors could work on ships hoisting the Lebanese flag.

The Ministry of Transport announced on the 12th of last May that the Panamanian maritime authorities had included the Syrian maritime certificates in the list that is recognized by them.
