US-backed SDF militant killed in an attack by unknown persons in Deir Ezzor countryside

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)-A militant from the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia was killed on Saturday in an attack by unidentified persons in Deir Ezzor western countryside.

 The militant was killed during an attack on one of SDF points in al-Kabar village on the bank of the Euphrates in Deir Ezzor western countryside near Raqqa’s administrative borders, local sources told SANA reporter.

Yesterday, an SDF militant was also killed in the explosion of a landmine planted by unknown persons in the vicinity of Tal Tamer town to the north of Hasaka. In addition, an explosive device went off when a car that belongs to the SDF militia was passing through the village of Mashekh to the east of Deir Ezzor, causing injuries among the militants. The blast of another explosive device in the vicinity of Zeban town in the east of Deir Ezzor also caused injuries to SDF militants.

 Attacks on US and Turkish-backed mercenaries in the Syrian al-Jazira region has recently been escalated, killing and injuring several mercenaries and destroying their vehicles.
