Blast of an explosive device kills four civilians, wounds five others in Turkish-occupied city of Ras al-Ayn in Syria’s Hasaka

HASAKA, (ST)- Four civilians were martyred and five others were wounded  in the blast of an explosive device near the Post Office in the Turkish-occupied Ras al-Ayn city in Hasaka countryside where Turkish-backed terror groups have a heavy presence.

According to local sources, the martyred civilians are three women and an elderly man while some of the wounded suffered serious injuries.

The sources said that a booby trapped motorcycle also exploded in the center of a market for selling chicken meat in the city, causing material damage in the site.

The areas, where Turkish regime-backed terrorist groups have positions, have been witnessing infighting among terror groups over areas of influence and stolen items. The clashes caused the martyrdom of tens of innocent people and the displacement of many citizens from their villages and farmlands which have been exposed to looting by the terrorists.
