Reuters quoted Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis as saying today: “We really need dialogue, but not under threat,” indicating at the same time that the European Union should “impose meaningful sanctions” on this regime if it refuses to withdraw its naval forces from the eastern Mediterranean region. .

Mitsotakis made it clear that Europe must “not placate hostile Turkey if it wants to exercise real geopolitical power,” reiterating that Greece will go to the International Court of Justice in the Hague if the Turkish regime does not back down from its provocations and return to dialogue.
