Lebanese MP: US sanctions aim to put pressure on the resistance & its allies

Beirut (ST): Member of al-Wafa’a Resistance Bloc MP Hussein al-Haj Hasan affirmed that the aim of the continuous US sanctions on the Lebanese people and others is to put pressure on the resistance and its allies and besiege the resistance axis in service of Israel.

In a televised speech, Hasan said that the US administration wanted the Lebanese officials to succumb to Washington’s orders regarding the demarcation of naval borders with occupied Palestine and abide by the so-called Deal of Century to liquidate the Palestine question.

He clarified that the strength of the resistance and the tripartite equivalent of army, people and resistance constitute the real deterrent for the enemy and its allies, noting that the Americans would do their utmost but they and their Israeli ally will lose the battle   in confrontation with the resistance and its allies.
