PLA asserts that Syria is the guarantor of the liberation of Palestine

The General Command of the Palestine Liberation army has affirmed on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of its establishment that the PLA has become a Palestinian national unity establishment that trains Palestinian youths  to fight for liberating Palestine and restoring its shrines and its people’s rights.
 
It said in a statement released today that the PLA – over the past decades-has been engaged alongside the Syrian Arab army and Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements in battles against the Zionist occupation forces.
 
“What is going on Syria is caused by its support for the Palestinian people and their just cause,” the statement said, asserting that Syria under the leadership of president Bashar al-Assad is the guarantor of liberating Palestine and achieving its legitimate goals.
 
The PLA called on the Palestinian people to remain steadfast and to be united to face the Zionist arrogance.
