Rouhani: America will not be able to achieve its goals in Iran

Tehran,(ST)-Iranian President Hassan Rouhani emphasized that the United States exercised maximum pressure on the Iranian people, yet failed and was unable to achieve its goals and objectives.

“The Iranian people are moving forward on the path of development and will not back down from their national goals, independence and pride,” Rouhani said during the cabinet meeting this morning, stressing that the enemies of this people have failed to undermine their capabilities and steadfastness.

The Iranian president pointed out that the American administration caused problems in many areas, but it did not achieve its goals and lost face in the UN Security Council, at the global level, and even at the domestic level before the American people.
