Czech President Milos Zeman confirmed his rejection of US interference in the country’s affairs.

Zeman stated  in an interview with the Czech television channel Prima that he told US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo during his recent visit to Czech that he considered it rude of Pompeo  to tell Prague who  to invite in  the bidding  ,for building a nuclear reactor and building a fifth generation network for the Internet, especially when the Americans have not succeeded till now in building this network.

Zeman said  that Pompeo tried to establish a lobby against China and Russia and  stressed that it was the Czech Republic who decided who would be invited to participate in these tenders and that this matter was not only rudeness, but a despicable rudeness.

Pompeo’s statements during his recent visit to Prague, during which he called for excluding Chinese and Russian companies from the project to expand the Dokovani nuclear plant and build the fifth generation network for the Internet.

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis confirmed that Czech is a sovereign country and takes its decisions in accordance with its interests.

In an interview with Czech TV, Czech Foreign Minister Tomás Petrcicstated  that there is no change in the Czech’s policy towards China, pointing out that the foreign policy is carried out by the government and not by the Speaker of the Parliament.
