Israel strives to separate Tulkarem from Nablus

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (ST)_Israeli occupation authorities plan to set up settlements in the villages of Shoufa and Jbara to the south of Tulkarem city and to link them though a road network to settlements in al-Tibah city in order to abort any chance of establishing  a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Tulkarem Governor Isam Abo Baker told the correspondent of the Syrian News Agency (SANA) that the Judaization scheme, which targets the southern side of Tulkarem, includes seizing 800 dunums of lands in Shoufa and Jbara villages and separating the towns and villages in the south  from the north.

He pointed out that the occupation authorities  started to implement this scheme through razing lands in the two towns and displacing the Palestinians, within the framework of the so-called the “deal of the century” , which is internationally rejected.

“The Israeli occupation has seized 3000 dunums of the lands of Shoufa village and it plans to seize 80% of the village to implement the new Judaization scheme,” Abo Baker added.

In another development, 54 Israeli settlers stormed  Al-Aqsa from the Al-Mughrabi Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, under the protection of the occupation forces.
