Deir Ezzor and Raqqa, (ST) – There were direct casualties among the “Qasad” groups associated with the American occupation forces, when their cars were targeted in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Civil sources told a SANA reporter that an ambush was carried out by unknown persons carrying automatic weapons targeting two cars belonging to the “Qasad militia” in the town of Dhiban in the Al-Mayadeen area and another in the vicinity of Al-Busirah city in Deir Ezzor countryside, resulting in direct casualties among the militia’s ranks and damaging the two cars.

Yesterday, a number of Qasad militants were killed and wounded by targeting a car and their headquarters in the eastern village of Ghariba and the town of Dhiban in Deir Ezzor countryside.

As part of its daily aggressive actions against civilians, the sources told SANA correspondent that a patrol of the US-backed militia kidnapped a number of young men and took them to an unknown destination in the countryside of Raqqa.

The sources indicated that there was a state of tension among the people as a result of repeated kidnappings and the unknown fate of the kidnappers, not to mention that areas are now divided by checkpoints and the inhabitants are exposed to continuous harassment on a daily basis to pressure them to accept their presence and the occupation forces that support them.

Most of the countryside of Deir Ezzor, Hasaka, and Raqqa, which are under the control of the “Qasad militia”, are witnessing a state of anger and popular rejection of that militia, which appeared through widespread popular protests calling for its expulsion from their villages and towns as a result of the practices it carried out against civilians and the theft of oil and the region’s goods under the cover and support of the American occupation forces.
