DAMASCUS, (ST)- 63 new coronavirus cases have been detected, raising the total number of infections in Syria to 3104, the Health Ministry announced on Saturday.
17 recoveries as well as three deaths have also been confirmed, the ministry added in a statement, pointing out that of all the registered 3104 cases, 715 patients have recovered and 130 have died.
The first infection with COVID-19 in Syria was confirmed on March 22 for a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported on the 29th of the same month.
