{jcomments off}OCCUPIED Al-QUDS, (ST)- Tens of Palestinian prisoners have suffered from suffocation when Israeli occupation forces assaulted Ofer prison in the West Bank and fired toxic gas inside the prison.
Wafa News Agency reported citing the Palestinian Prisoners’ S Club that the occupation forces fired gas bombs, causing suffocation to 26 prisoners. The Club warned that the occupation’s oppressive practices against the prisoners violate international agreements and conventions.
The Club called on international organizations, mainly the International Red Cross to intervene as soon as possible in order to stop the Israeli occupation savage escalation against the Palestinian prisoners and to force the occupation authorities to release patient and elderly prisoners as well as detained children and women.
In the meantime, the occupation forces detained two Palestinians in occupied al-Quds.
Wafa news agency said that the occupation forces detained a woman in Bab al-Asbat area in occupied al-Quds city and stormed al-Aysaweyeh town to the north of the city where they detained a young Palestinian after beating him.
