Egyptian politician condemns international silence over US and Turkish occupations’ crimes in Syria

CAIRO, (ST)- Deputy Head of Egypt’s People’s Democratic Party Sayyed al-Asyouti has condemned the international silence over the crimes being perpetrated by the American and Turkish occupation forces in Syria, stressing that these criminal acts have violated all international laws.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, al- Asyouti said that the Turkish regime’s cutting off water supplies to citizens in Syria’s Hasaka is a crime against humanity that can’t be tolerated.

The Egyptian politician reiterated that the crimes of the US and Turkish occupations against the Syrian people, particularly stealing their oil and natural resources have dealt a blow to all international laws, therefore, countries of the world should adopt a decisive stance to stop these crimes.

He urged international organizations, that claim protecting human rights, to adopt a clear stance on these crimes and to call for punishing the perpetrators.
