Syria, Russia discuss bilateral cooperation

MOSCOW, (ST)_Syrian-Russian cooperation was discussed on Tuesday by Syria’s Ambassador to Russia Dr. Riyad Haddad and Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The two sides exchanged view points on the recent developments in the Middle East and focused on the current situation in Syria and its surrounding, according to the statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The statement said that the two diplomats talked about enhancing the Syrian-Russian cooperation, including the active political dialogue.
