Damascus (ST): The Syrian Arab army air defenses intercepted an Israeli missile aggression that targeted the southern region.

A military source said that at 22.40 yesterday, the Zionist enemy launched an air strike from the side of the occupied Syrian Golan against some military positions in Southern Damascus, adding that the army air defenses intercepted the attack and downed most of the missiles before reaching their targets.

The source said that the Israeli aggression led to the martyrdom of two soldiers and the wounding of seven others in addition to material damage.

The Syrian Arab army air defences have recurrently intercepted Israeli airstrikes during the terrorist war being launched against Syria within the framework of Israel’s desperate attempts to support the terrorist groups operating in Syria.
