Turkish-backed mercenaries dismantle and steal electric towers in Ras al-Ayn city in Hasaka Countryside
HASAKA, (ST)- Mercenaries and terrorists, backed by the Turkish occupation forces in Syria, continued to loot public and private properties in the villages of Ras al-Ayn city in Hasaka northern countryside.
The Turkish-backed mercenaries and terrorists dismantled and stole electric poles and towers in the villages of Matla, Lazqa and Tal Sakher in the eastern countryside of Ras al-Ayn city. The stolen materials were taken to open places used as warehouses for storing looted items in preparation for selling them to Turkish brokers.
On Sunday, the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries stole agricultural equipment and machinery, electric power generation sets and pumps from the wells in the village of Abah, to the southwest of the Turkish-occupied city of Ras al-Ayn.
The Turkish occupation forces and their terrorist mercenaries, since their aggression on Syrian territories last October, have repeatedly burned agricultural crops and stolen properties, agricultural equipment and machinery as well as houses after displacing their owners. They also repeatedly cut off water supplies from the Alouk station that provides water to more than a million citizens in Hasaka, thereby worsening the suffering of civilians in that area.
