DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Speaker of the Syrian People’s Assembly [Parliament] Hammoda Sabbagh discussed on Thursday with Armenia’s Ambassador to Damascus Tigran Gevorgyan the ways of developing bilateral relations in all fields.
The speaker referred to the friendly and brotherly relations between Syria and Armenia and the suffering of the two countries’ peoples from the Ottoman occupation’s practices, the last of which is the Turkish regime’s cutting off of the water to Hasaka residents.
On his part, the ambassador said that a delegation representing the National Association of Armenia and Syrian- Armenian businessmen will visit Syria when the movement between the two countries improves in accordance with the development of coronacirus crisis.
