Two civilians martyred, others wounded when an explosive device blew up in the center of Ras al-Ayn city in Hasaka countryside

HASAKA, (ST)- Two civilians were martyred and several others were wounded on Thursday after an explosive device, attached to a motorcycle, exploded in downtown Ras al-Ayn city in Hasaka countryside where Turkish-backed terrorist groups have heavy presence, SANA reporter in Hasaka said citing local sources.

The explosion also caused material damage to locals’ properties, the reporter added.

The areas, where Turkish-backed terrorist groups are positioned in the countryside of Hasaka, have been witnessing bombings and infighting among these groups over areas of influence and over stolen items, causing the martyrdom of tens of civilians and the displacement of many others.
