The Israeli enemy targeted villages and areas in the south with missiles, says Lebanese Army

Beirut, (ST)   – The Lebanese Army Command announced today that helicopters belonging to the Israeli enemy targeted, after midnight last night, Lebanese villages and areas and centers belonging to the environmental association “Green Without Borders” inside the Lebanese territories

According to a statement issued by the army, the enemy helicopters fired missiles in the areas of Ramya and Aita al-Shaab and targeted a center for the mentioned above association in the Aitaroun reserve, which led to a fire inside it. This was preceded by attacks by the enemy by firing flare, explosive and phosphorous bombs in the forests of the towns of Mays al-Jabal, Hula, Maroun al-Rasand Aitaroun inside the Lebanese territories, which caused fires in the bushes and material damage to houses, while dozens of explosions were heard inside the occupied Shebaa Farms.

Andrea Tenente, spokesperson for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon “UNIFIL”, confirmed that the Israeli enemy fired a number of flare bombs along the Blue Line in southern Lebanon.

UNIFIL’s radars detected mortar and artillery shells fired by the Israeli enemy at Lebanese towns and areas on the borders with occupied Palestine, in addition to the intensive flight of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft over these areas.
