Rouhani: The steadfastness of the Iranian people has foiled the American schemes

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that the steadfastness of the Iranian people has foiled the American schemes.

During the Iranian government meeting today,  Rouhani said that “the resilience and resistance of the Iranian people made America face successive defeats in the UN Security Council,” stressing that the Iranians, despite all the pressures and difficulties, did not surrender to the enemy that was planning to push them to  breaking point- but it failed .

 

On Tuesday, the UN Security Council rejected the US request to resume sanctions against Iran.

Rouhani noted  that the Iranian government is steadfast in the face of pressures, as it has succeeded in opening the largest projects in the country’s history and increasing the volume of agricultural crops production in light of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and the embargo imposed on Iran, while the rest of the world faced difficulties in ensuring what its people need in these circumstances.
