President of the Czechoslovak Institute of International Relations: The use of drinking water as weapon is dangerous

PRAGUE, (ST)_President of the Czechoslovak Institute of  International Relations Jaromir Chalabata has affirmed that the presence of the Turkish occupation forces in Syria is illegitimate and illegal and violates international laws and charters.

Speaking to the correspondent of the Syrian News Agency (SANA) in Prague, Chalabata said that the use of drinking water as a weapon and a pressure card in conflicts is a dangerous phenomenon that contradicts all human and international principles.

He added that the Turkish regime’s support for terrorist groups that cut off water to Hasaka people threatens the health and lives of citizens and contributes to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.

Chalabata stressed that Syria plays a pivotal role in achieving peace and stability in the ME region, calling for standing with Syrian people, army and government.

He blamed the western and regional states for the delay in resolving the crisis in Syria.
